Eskom Light Prototype - 1st year

In our first year we partook in the Eskom Light competition.  My inspiration for the lamp was a sugar stick.  I love the way the sugar crystals reflect the light and thus thought it would be interesting for a light design.  The lampshade consists of woven metal strings of various beads. 
I won a consolation prize for my design.
