Finiglass approached our class to come up with exciting designs to promote their products. This design could be any furniture item which you would most likely find in a lounge setting and must have the ability to be flat-packed. Because Finiglass has such an extensive range of products I wanted to display as much of it as I could and I chose to design a coffee table.
This coffee table consists of 3 various sized panels which overlap each other. This allows for an interesting arrangement and an overlapping display of colours and/or patterns. The joints are UV-bonded to create a clean and seamless finish. When packaged, the panels fit into one another giving them the ability to be flat-packed.
My design scored the best marks in our class.
