The Drawing Room

We were asked to design a cafeteria for the students of the campus building as such facilities weren't provided.  The cafeteria had to be a lightweight structure as it would be constructed on the roof of the second floor.  Architecture, town planning and interior design students share this building and thus it was vital to create a common space that everyone can relate to in order for them to feel welcome.  Seeing that drawing is a basic element we have in common I decided to call my cafeteria the drawing room.  The interior space represents a blank canvas with hand drawn lines on the vertical surfaces which connects the space and the users within.
